I will have to think how to work with the red color.I think that the first think that comes in one’s mind is grey.Grey shoes and grey skirt/dress.But that looks like the easy way out,I need something more fun..white maybe?

lace anybody?

This is the closest I can come to the Prada lace crazyness for now.An old short wife beater with lace on one of the shoulders that I bought on some random sale a couple of years ago.  I mean, I saw a lot of lace dresses ( e.g. Newport News and all) but I do not think lace is flattering.It clings to every cell of fat on your hips and ,up to now, I haven’t seen an all-lace dress that isn’t tacky. Maybe if styled with more serious pieces… But it is not my domain.

So I will start hunting for lace dresses that look fierce. For now only on the net. Then I will see them in H&M and Zara. Maybe I’ll change my mind.

Today:coffee and study

So:this morning I went to the market ( bought yummy food and a potted flower ) and I fell in love with a  stupid red necklace.Stupid because it is one of those items you buy because you like the color/texture or because you saw it on someone in a magazine…But that doesn’t fit in the way you dress or in your life at that moment.At all. I was looking for red tights to be honest..that’s what I want now.

 Now I am about to make a cup of coffee.And here we go… hit the books!!!

My question: will I ever wear the necklace? What would be a good outfit for it? I mean the style…

short pants

I think this is the best variant of the high waisted pants/skirts. At least for me. I’ve seen them worn with very simple things as tops.What do you think? What are you guys wearing with the high waisted items?

PS Sorry , I should’ve ironed the pants,but I am lazy…

pink cotton clutch

Don’t you love Old Navy?  I know a lot of people that just disregard it…they never take it into consideration when out looking for stuff. And it’s incredible how many little things one can find there…I probably like it because it’s like 2 minutes away from my apartment..hihi. And it makes a good excuse to get out of the house.

So today I was looking for storage parts and I got this purse-clutch…the color is going to be so “out” in 2 months, but it will make a great make-up bag.

Another dress I will never wear as a dress. Maybe as a tunic, but I doubt it. Too much leg for the first one and too preggers-like for the second one.

Even though I saw some dresses..(wink,wink- Miu Miu, Maison Margiela..)- OMG how short they were..

Definitely not my piece of pie..But I’ve got this on sale and I thought I should wear it once, at least in front of my camera. I don’t think it will ever leave the house.

What do you think?

My question: what should I style it with? A wide belt would be nice, I tried a couple and the dress looks interesting, however I do not have any belt that matches my shoes. This is typical for me, i bought an enormous amount of wide belts  without thinking about the shoes I should coordinate them with.

Old Balenciaga jodhpurs

I’ve got a pair with a nice snug cuffed ankle, unfortunately white ( not the best color to wear , it shows my panties…that’s why). They are not Balenciaga, of course, I bought them from a discount store ( Daffy’s).

A couple of weeks later, while looking for gladiator sandals i found a nice pair of black ones ,by the same designer ( Patrizia Pepe) and even though i know they do not work wonders with my wide feet I couldn’t refrain myself from buying them. Mainly because I think that everybody will wear the ones that Nine West has (3-4 types) and I do not want to be in an uniform.

so here is the combination ( like 2 seasons later, no?).

Should I wear it like that? Or not at all? Or with something else?

I just want you to tell me if I’m not crossing the line, you know?  Like a good friend would do..” you are not wearing THAT..”. Just be true to yourself,I am tired of blogs where everybody is looking cute.I am not cute. Niether fierce . I guess just plain boring and this blog is going to be my playground far away from safe.
